Burnsville Pride Code of Conduct
Burnsville Pride is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and their allies at all our events. We believe in upholding respect, kindness, and empathy for all, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, age, ability, or any other characteristic.
To ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited at Burnsville Pride events. Anyone engaging in these actions may be asked to leave and/or be banned from future events:
- Violence or threats of violence toward individuals or groups
- Possession, distribution, use, or being under the influence of illegal substances
- Public nudity or indecent exposure
- Theft, vandalism, or destruction of property
- Actions that endanger others’ safety or well-being
- Harassment, bullying, or any form of verbal, physical, or sexual misconduct
- Use of offensive, discriminatory, or harmful language
- Disruptive, disrespectful, or discourteous behavior
- Smoking in non-designated areas, including near entrances and exits
- Possession or consumption of alcohol except in designated areas at approved events
- Public intoxication
- Possession of firearms, weapons, or dangerous items
- Engaging in sexual activity at events
By attending Burnsville Pride events, you agree to uphold this code of conduct and contribute to a space where everyone feels valued, respected, and free to be their authentic selves.
